What a lovely historic hotel with affable staff in particular one member! Marvellous location near to Lyme Regis, Seaton and Sidmouth, centre of a road island and roundabout. Besides, excellent for visiting River Cottage.  

The central location here is fantastic with easy access to the railway station and bus links to other places, in a fairly pleasant area.

The small double room at The George Hotel in Axminster was impressive. The location of the hotel is incredible and excellent, just a couple of blocks away from Axminster Heritage Museum.- It's only a 5-minute walk to downtown from 

There were an electric kettle, central heating, and an ironing set in my twin room, enjoyed it. The location was excellent, very close to everything.

The location near the sea was lovely and fantastic.

Whenever we visit Axminster, we always choose to stay at this venue; overall, it's an outstanding place with very friendly and welcoming staff, especially one particular member.

Great and absolutely charming hotel, all in all we felt safe.

We had a such great trip with sensational breakfast. Clean rooms had an ironing set, an electronic key card, and coffee and tea making facilities. The location was great on a "island "in the middle of traffic.  

The hotel had a very central setting close to beautiful Seaton beach. And we were short walk to a "island``, bus links to other areas and Sidmouth.

There were too firm beds in our room.

Very lovely stay, as always. Everything was clean and very good.- Recently renovated king room, exceptionally comfortable beds.- Great-sized bathrooms with a bathtub.- Particularly good location, around 10-15 minutes walk from Apple Tree Gift Shop.- Just 

A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Excellent setting, near to absolutely nothing offered, Axminster itself and centre of road. Again, walking distance to River Cottage. Honestly no complaints.

The staff was efficient and amicable. The breakfast offered was delicious with a wide range of food. I liked the location in a marvelous and lovely setting close to beautiful Seaton beach. It was exceptionally clean.

Luxurious and immaculate rooms with lovely beds, an ironing set, an electronic key card, coffee and tea making facilities. A nice enough area, brilliant location right by Axminster, the centre, and the restaurant. Again, not far from River Cottage.  

The room I stayed in had a very comfortable bed, which made for a good night's sleep.
